Responsibility for Employees
Company Culture
MünchenerHyp’s culture is traditionally characterised as caring and informal, which has arisen through cooperative ideas and principles such as solidarity, subsidiarity, fairness and respect. Willingness to contribute to the team and an interest in collective success come first above self-centred career ambitions and sharp elbows.
We are convinced that diversity enriches a company and contributes to its success. Consequently, we show our appreciation for each employee. We tolerate no form of discrimination within MünchenerHyp and are committed to equal opportunities at all levels.
Work-Life Balance
We provide employees with a range of individual options in order to cater for their needs for a viable work-life balance and flexible working times. At the same time our employees’ private lives are important to MünchenerHyp - evenings and weekends should be explicitly for relaxation, and employees are not expected to be contactable at all times. Flexible working time regulations do not only apply to employees with children. Many employees appreciate the flexibility offered to pursue their hobbies during the week, to perform voluntary services or to cut down and find their own individual work-life balance.
Family Friendly
We are happy when our employees have children. To make family life compatible with a career, we offer our employees various full-time, part-time and homeworking options, which our employees are pleased to accept. In each situation we seek individual solutions within the boundaries of what is possible for us. From clerks to department heads, our employees take advantage of what MünchenerHyp offers, above all because they are put into practice in a straight-forward manner.
At MünchenerHyp, it is possible for parental leave to go hand in hand with a career, since for us parental leave and management are not mutually exclusive. Studies prove that, while on parental leave, employees and managers develop key skills as well as personal and organisational capabilities that cannot be acquired in everyday working life - supporting this is important for MünchenerHyp.
Our mothers and fathers continue to receive information during parental leave, so they can keep in touch with the bank (e.g. through invitations to events such as staff parties or to the open continuing education programme).
