Münchener Hypothekenbank wraps up acquisition of Warburg Hypothekenbank

Münchener Hypothekenbank has completed the acquisition of M.M.Warburg & CO Hypothekenbank AG (Warburg Hypothekenbank). The purchase was agreed with effect on 1 June 2023. 

Following the successful closing of the deal and the purchase of all shares, Warburg Hypothekenbank is now a legally independent subsidiary of Münchener Hypothekenbank. The parties have agreed not to disclose any further details of the transaction. 

The merger of Warburg Hypothekenbank with Münchener Hypothekenbank is expected to be completed by the end of June 2023.

Münchener Hypothekenbank had signed the contract to acquire Warburg Hypothekenbank on 3 November 2022.
