MünchenerHyp honoured at the Real Estate Capital Awards

Münchener Hypothekenbank eG (MünchenerHyp) announced today that it took second place in the category “Bank Lender of the Year: Southern Europe” at the Real Estate Capital Awards. The real estate bank was honored for its long-term and sustainable financing activities in Spain.
 
MünchenerHyp has been active in the Spanish commercial property market since 2005. Over the last two years the Bank provided about € 400 million in financing for property transactions in Spain, including major volume deals like the purchase of the Avalon Business Park in Madrid, which it financed with a long-term loan of € 76.5 Million.

“We are delighted to receive this award as it reflects that market participants highly appreciate our financing competence, market experience and reliability. This is an incentive for us to further strengthen our international commitment," said Dr. Louis Hagen, Chairman of the Board of Management of MünchenerHyp. 

The awards are based on the votes of market participants and are presented annually by the renowned property trade magazine Real Estate Capital.
