Ulrich Scheer appointed new member of MünchenerHyp’s Board of Management

The Supervisory Board of Münchener Hypothekenbank eG (MünchenerHyp) announced today that it has appointed Ulrich Scheer (53) to the Bank’s Board of Management as CFO effective 1 September 2021. In addition to accounting, Mr. Scheer will also be responsible for the Bank’s IT operations in his new position. Before this appointment he had served as the property bank’s General Executive Manager since 1 September 2020. 

Ulrich Scheer has many years of proven expertise in the banking industry, especially in the field of banking IT. Prior to joining MünchenerHyp he had spent 17 years at BayernLB in different positions of responsibility. Mr. Scheer moved on to HSH Nordbank in 2013 where he served as Global Head of IT. He continued in this position after the bank was privatised and renamed the Hamburg Commercial Bank.

As of 1 September the MünchenerHyp’s Board of Management will consist of Dr. Louis Hagen (CEO), Dr. Holger Horn (CRO) und Ulrich Scheer (CFO).
