Ulrich Scheer to be MünchenerHyp’s new General Executive Manager

Münchener Hypothekenbank eG (MünchenerHyp) announced today that it has appointed Ulrich Scheer (52) as General Executive Manager effective 1 September 2020. His many years of extensive IT expertise and experience, in particular, will strengthen the management team of the property Bank, which operates as a cooperative. Following 17 years at BayernLB he joined HSH Nordbank in 2013 where he was Global Head of IT. He continued in this position after the bank was privatised and renamed the Hamburg Commercial Bank, where he was most recently responsible for the transformation of the bank’s IT operations.

Following a preparatory period, and after receiving appropriate approvals from the supervisory authorities, the Supervisory Board intends to appoint Ulrich Scheer as a member of MünchenerHyp’s Board of Management.

The current members of MünchenerHyp's Board of Management are Dr Louis Hagen (Chairman) and Dr Holger Horn.
